Hands On Health Associates makes available New York State certified field educators to facilitate interns' application of theory in behavior health, human service and social work to practice.  The interns will maintain appropriate records, actively participate in organizational meetings and understand and adhere to the policy and procedures so they can accurately represent the agency to our clients.  The supervisors will assess interns' knowledge, skills and values during engagement with clients to ensure an empathetic, non-judgemental, culturally sensitive and caring approach.

We will provide required field hours for the following:

• Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor
• Bachelor of Science in Human Service
• Bachelor of Science in Social Work
• Masters of Human Service
• Masters in Social Work
• License Master Social Worker
• License Mental Health Counselor
• License Clinical Social Worker

The emphasis of the field instructor teaching is based on the needs of the intern and provides space for a narrative discussion of how students plan to meet each learning objective.
