Telehealth Guidelines

Before you continue, please review the Telehealth Guidelines below.  Once you have read the guidelines and are ready for your session, please click the "CONTINUE" button at the bottom of this page.

  1. ATTIRE
    1. You should be dressed as if you were attending an in-person session.  Casual but appropriate attire is expected to maintain the professional nature of the session.
  2. LOCATION and ENVIRONMENT
    1. You should choose a private, quiet location.
    2. The chosen location should be free from distractions such as household chores, pets and other family members.
    3. Ensure the environment is well-lit and free of background noise.
  3. DEVICE SETUP
    1. If using a smartphone, it should be stationary and not hand-held.
    2. Ensure the device is stable and positioned at eye level.
  4. CONFIDENTIALITY and PRIVACY
    1. Ensure no other individuals are present or able to overhear the session, unless prior arrangements have been made with your therapist.
    2. Headphones are recommended to enhance privacy and improve audio quality.
  5. SESSION PREPARATION
    1. Patients should log in to the telehealth waiting room a few minutes before the scheduled appointment to avoid technical issues.
    2. Have all necessary materials (ex. notepad, pen, medication, etc.) ready before the session starts.
  6. TECHNICAL ISSUES
    1. ​In case of technical difficulties, please call our main number, 347-547-3626 for assistance.
